Could slacking on hygiene during treatment damage your teeth?

We love creating beautiful smiles, yet nothing is a bigger bummer than taking braces off of beautifully aligned teeth with white spots and puffy gums that happen when hygiene and diet habits aren't kept up during treatment. Why Every Child Should See An Orthodontist by Age 7

If you go...

Picture this: you’re on an airplane heading to your next vacation destination. You’re seated in first class. The flight attendants are serving free drinks. The view out your window is spectacular. “Wow,” you think, “what a great flight.” Then you realize there’s no one at the controls. In other words, while there may...

5 Reasons Why Now is the Perfect Time for Adults to Get Braces

According to the American Association of Orthodontists, one in four of today’s orthodontic patients are adults. That’s a lot more than in years past. So why are more adults getting orthodontic treatment this year than ever before? Whether you’re a young adult, a parent, a recent empty nester, or a senior, there’s...

Make sure to visit your dentist every 3 months during treatment

During orthodontic treatment, it’s more important than ever to visit your dentist twice as often. We recommend scheduling a cleaning and checkup every three months to keep your teeth and gums healthy. If you like, we can coordinate care with your dentist.
